27.1 EOMONTH Function The EOMONTH function in Excel allows you to return the serial number of a date that is the last day of the specified amount of months after a set date. For example, if your start date is January 23 2006 and you want to know what the date is 17 months from then, you will get the serial number for the date June 30 2007, you can then convert this into a date format.
